I  have also found a good video on YouTube called "Cast Iron Maintenance" by The Culinary Fanatic.
Look him up. I'm glad I did. I love my cast iron pans but have ruined so many of them through error and ignorance. For instance, I had no idea that electric stoves can ruin cast iron and that you should never cook higher than medium heat. No wonder my pans are all warped. But, live and learn.
